Fact of the Day: El Presidente

Pedro Lascurain was President of Mexico in 1913, but resigned in less than an hour. A military general named Victoriano Huerta overthrew President Francisco Madero and his Vice President. With the planned resignation of Lascurain, Huerta made his claim to the presidency more formal.
