My Favorite Photos: Carnival Basketball

I like to play carnival games even though (especially at the smaller ones) they're nearly impossible to win. This basketball game was pretty much like that. I would like to see Michael Jordan take a try at this, or even one of those NBA players nobody cares about.

My kids never understand that they are impossible to win, and after spending over $25 to try to win a prize I find myself bribing the carnie for his rock bottom price on the stupid stuffed SpongeBob.

I doubt I'd be very good at this game.

I love playing them all, but I never win!

I don't win them either.

They are as rigged as can be and the prizes have more germs on them than any public toilet seat

I have never won a carnival game!

They are VERY hard to win...and even harder? The claw. Even if you get the best grip possible on a toy, those things are so loose, it just slips right through.

I remember when I was about 9...my daddy took my cousin and I to a little carnival.
One game was tossing the plastic rings over the necks of coke bottles...by a fluke, I ringed every one and when I tried to pick out my prize, the man told me to "run along, little girl..." so I found my dad and he went over with me and after an up-in-his-face talk with the man, he asked me what prize I wanted. I picked a big clock with a horse statue on the side....I wish I still had it. :)
