Random Photo: Bridesmaid Dress

The other day Daisy and I went out to pick out a bridesmaid dress for Daisy's maid of honor. We're only going to have one person for each side, so I'll just have a best man. It was hard to find a dress since we had to look at both color (which is a peach color) and sizes. Her maid of honor lives far away, so I'm hoping she told us the correct size.

Good for you. You are just as married with a smaller, nice wedding as one big and elaborate. The main things is what is your hearts.

It's always tricky finding the right size for another person. Sizes differ so much. Nothing's standard anymore.

Why doesn't she pick her own out, so she can try it the heck on?

I agree with Happy Whisk on this, (especially for women), clothing is such a personal thing. Happy Easter to you and Daisy, Adam. :)

That's a very pretty dress. A wonderfully soft colour; perfect for spring.

Beautiful color! Goes with most skin tones! Much better than the putrid purple I had to wear once!

How exciting that your wedding plans are moving along. I couldn't be more happy for you, unless maybe it was my son getting married. Happy Easter.

Peach is a beautiful colour for a bridesmaid's dress.

Whenever I read any bridesmaid story, it's so hard to keep the movie Bridesmaid out of my head. Anyway, congrats on the marriage!

"THW" and Linda.
I disagree - it is the wedding for the bride and groom - not the bridesmaid/s.
Thus etiquette would be that the bride selects the colour and design.
I have yet to know of any bridesmaid who has not liked her dress!
Etiquette has the groomsmen all in the same attire.

I got married over 30 years ago and, to be honest, I don't remember if I chose the colour and design at that time. I do remember, however, is that I was happy with what my matron of honour and bridesmaid wore. :)
