Fact of the Day: Alvin York

During World War I, an American solider named Alvin York earned the Medal of Honor. During a battle against German forces, he took out a machine gun nest, killed six enemy soldiers, and captured 132 others. The most amazing thing is that he accomplished most of this by himself.

What an incredible guy! Sounds like he was a man of integrity as well. They did a movie about him with Gary Cooper.

I understand him. It must be very hard to kill someone, even when you are fighting for saving your life. Kisses:)
