Fact of the Day: Judaism in Afghanistan

Despite influence from Western nations, Afghanistan is still not a country with true religious freedom. Zablon Simintov is believed to be the only Jewish person (by faith) remaining in the country. He has been reluctant to leave the country, even though his wife and daughters live in Israel.

I don't understand the notion of 'no religious freedom'. So they wanna get into your soul too?

Jews have been driven from all of the Islamic lands they lived in for thousands of years and no one notices or cares. But the so called palestinians who pledge to wipe them out of the their last foothold are considered 'victims' for refusing to acknowledge the Jewish state. Anti-Antisemitism much?

I doubt religious freedom exists anywhere in the Muslim world. Too bad because Mohammed preached tolerance of other religions, unlike many of his followers.
