Fact of the Day: Pancake Day

In many parts of the world, there exists the holiday of Shrove Tuesday, also known as a Pancake Day. The day is famous for the consumption of pancakes before Ash Wednesday which is the first day of the Christian event of Lent. Like most holidays linked to Christianity, Pancake Day was originally a pagan holiday.
