Fact of the Day: Science Friends

Richard Owen coined the term dinosaur, and was legendary for his ability to interpret fossils, however he made little friends among his peers in science. Many in his time called him things like malicious, dishonest, odious, and hateful. Charles Darwin once said of him "spiteful, extremely malignant, clever; the Londoners say he is mad with envy because my book is so talked about".
