Fact of the Day: Polecat Ferret

The popular pet animals known as ferrets were domesticated from European Polecats around 1500 BC in Europe. The main reason they were domesticated was for the purpose of hunting vermin.

interesting...a lady in our old neighborhood had a ferret and she would put a leash on it and walk it in the park.....
