Fact of the Day: Color Wheel

A color wheel is an invention that helps people understand the relationship and contrast of different kinds of colors. The color wheel was invented by Sir Isaac Newton though there would be later additions and improvements to his original color wheel.

I didn't know who invented the color wheel but it sure helps when you are trying to put a room together with color.

As an artist, I studied the color wheel years ago. If you mix colors from opposite sides of the wheel, you always get gray. These are complimentary colors.
