Question: Do You Ever Eat the Halloween Candy Early?

Obviously this is only for those who give out the candy. I got two big bags of candy this year for the trick-or-treaters and I told myself I would not open it until Halloween night. Now I've already taken quite a few pieces along with my wife Daisy. Now I'm thinking in my head which pieces of candy I want to keep to myself.

Do you ever eat the Halloween candy before Halloween?

I only by the kinds of candy that I don't like and hand that out. That way I won't eat any.
We won't be home this Halloween so don't have to worry about it this year. : )

You should not have gotten it so early. I do not do that anymore. The children do not come around much as it is to dangerous.

No, but I only buy candy I don't like. That way I'm not tempted.

I don't just because we don't celebrate Halloween that much, it's been ages since the last visit from kids :(
I like Halloween spirit but in smaller cities in Italy Halloween looks more like a party occasion for guys/gals/adults...
So, no, no candies... no candy apples, just regular apples XD haha
Have a great day!!!

This pumkin looks so fun!
In Ukraine many people that more than 40 usually say that's a ''bad'' holiday, so it's dangerous for kids to ask for candies, but I did it with my friends a few times when was younger, sometimes people shouted to us, but mostly, they've giving to us candies, although they had no idea about Halloween.

So funny. The hh won't fall in with buying candy early because he knows we'll eat it.

We haven't given out candy for a couple of years but when we used to, we used to stash some favourite chocolates. And maybe a few pieces of bubble gum.

We don't celebrate Halloween, and since we live out in the country, we haven't had trick-or-treaters around for years. But smart idea keeping you favorite candies!

Graduation open-houses are a big thing around here every spring. When my sister and I had ours (and when I host parties), we buy a lot of chocolate...thankfully there is always some extra we can keep in the cabinets to just eat ourselves after the events.

Yes, I bought a lot last month and am down to 6 bags. I had to go buy 3 more just to make sure I have enough to pass out this year.

We've already gone through 2 bags of candy. lol But then we always have candy in the candy bowls and when someone comes over they can help themselves.
