Fact of the Day: Olympic Art

Art compeitions were part of the Olympic games for quite a few decades with the last being in 1948. They were suppose to be kept on a sports theme but categories had included architecture, literature, sculpture, painting, and music.

Never knew that. Probably more athletic than some of those things they have now lol

I wish art competitions continued to be part of the Olympics.

Woah that's awesome! I've never heard this before. Art should still be part of some sort of competition as big as olympics. That painting is outstanding, I never got into painting myself (besides my clay sculptures).
