Question: Do You Use a Carbon Monoxide Detector?

I think most homes have at least one smoke detector, but how many of us remember to use a carbon monoxide detector? It's a gas that we can't see, smell, or taste, and yet we act like we don't need something to tell us its in our home putting us all in harm's way. I'm glad we have one for the house as it makes me feel safer.

Do you use a carbon monoxide detector?

I have one. But, it broke last year. So I guess I DON'T have one. I think I need to fix that.

We have two located in our home and they're set up with our alarm system.

My Rare One has one in her house but in my apartment, I do not. I don't know if they're recommended for use in apartments too? Probably.

This is a good reminder to people. Yes, I have a detector. It freaked me out the winter before last when the battery alarm went in the middle of the night and I couldn't tell where the sound was coming from.
