Fact of the Day: Bobby Dunbar

At the age of four, Bobby Dunbar went missing in 1912. There was a nationwide search which lasted months. The search ended in Mississippi where he was found. Bobby Dunbar died in 1966 but in truth he was not Bobby Dunbar. DNA testing (via his son) proved that he was not the real Bobby Dunbar.

I wonder how many things like that have happened in the past. How many parents died and left kids who were just raised by other people maybe even neighbors who never told them they weren't their real relatives. I might not even be related to my ancestors. It's something to think about.

So he's still officially missing? How strange! Thanks for sharing this mystery with us readers, and stopping by my blog.

So the real Bobby Dunbar was never found and they took the wrong child? That is freaky!
Have a great Wednesday when it gets here, Adam and Daisy.

The first time I hear this... Very strange... Like why that a human said that he's Bobby Dunbar and how people didn't notice this. I need to google for more!
