Random Photos: The Cats

One of my first days at my new house, I heard a lot of meowing. I do not have a cat. There was two outside my kitchen door and soon as I saw them they were fighting or something. They broke it up once they saw me. The white cat here seemed to be the loser. It looked so sad and it seemed like it wanted in. Then after I gave it time to wander away, it apparently didn't like me and ran as I opened the door to go to my car so I could get to work.

If you feed it, it's yours.

From the look of things - that white cat is registered, so
is obviously owned by some neighbour.
Seems it has a collar on it's neck, hopefully it is de-sexed??
All suburban cats in Australia have to be registed, tagged and de-sexed, unless you have a permit for a pedigreed cat for breeding purposes and then the cat has to be kept virtually under lock and key.
No midnight meanderings - ha ha.
In Australia, cats on farms are kept to keep down any mice or rat infestations/plagues in stables, barns and especially SHEARING SHEDS.
They are probably also de-sexed but I don't think they would have to be registered unless the farm borders a township.

It looks like it's wearing a collar. I'm guessing it belongs to someone.
