Fact of the Day: Baroness Lady Haden-Guest

While Jamie Lee Curtis is a famous American actress, she's also a British baroness officially known as Lady Haden-Guest. Her husband Christopher Guest is actually the 5th Baron Haden-Guest.

Interesting. I didn't think American citizens could hold titles of nobility unless they were honorary.

I think that's really just knighthood where you can't call yourself Sir unless you're British

If Jamie Lee Curtis is now a British citizen, the title of Baroness is for real. If she has retained her US citizenship, it is purely honorary.
I think Ronald Reagan was given an honorary title by the British government ????
