Fact of the Day: Rabid Possum

While almost any mammal can get rabies, opossums are very resistant to the disease. Mainly because their low body-temperatures are not ideal for rabies to grow.

hmmm...and they are so cute.
Every time I hear the word "rabid", I think of the movie CUJO...the scariest movie I've ever seen....
