Fact of the Day: Super Java

The island of Java in Indonesia is the world most populous island with 139 million people which is more than Japan's Honshu island.

Dang, all those people living on an island huh? Makes ya wonder what kind of entertainment is available for the locals besides the obvious.

That's about 100 million more people than in all of Canada. And all crammed into one island.

I knew it had a large population but that's just too many people for one small island.

The Javanese people are quite happy with their lot. The island is quite fertile from previous volcanic eruptions and it still has deadly active volcanoes.
Anyhow it is far bigger than what is implied in the heading (Fact of the day),
