Fact of the Day: Barry Faith

Barry Goldwater was a Republican who ran against Lyndon Baines Johnson during the 1964 presidential election. Goldwater's grandfather was a Jewish-immigrant from Poland, making Goldwater the first major presidential candidate to be ethnically Jewish. Religiously Goldwater was a Christian belonging the Episcopal denomination.

First I ever even heard of him.

Johnson defeated Goldwater in a landslide because Goldwater ran a deeply racist and insane campaign. Hmm...sound like someone we all know about?

I certainly remember him.
As Andrew so succinctly writes above, he was a "junior/minor version" of who Collin Powell so aptly describes of today
the myoptic, pariah of the International stage - "Mop Head
Trump".
Had a good laugh at Trump on Hillary's armed security guards.
She should if she wants guns banned, unarm her security.
Well if that was to happen, I wonder would Trumpie-boy do likewise - his gun patrollers should be able to fill a ship container full with their armory!!
Colin ( with only one "L").
