Fact of the Day: Polar Night

A polar night refers to at least a 24 hour period in the polar regions where the sun doesn't rise at all. In some places in the world, the sun might not rise for months.

I imagine the depression rates there rise to an all time high though.

It seems weird not seeing the sun for months. A bit like watching XFactor with no talent.

I loved polar night. We had 6 weeks where the sun didn't rise.
