Fact of the Day: Thomas Jefferson French Fries

The American-English word french fries seems to be derived from the days of Thomas Jefferson as President of the United States. As people heard he was served potatoes in a French manner at a particular White House dinner event. While France and Belgium still argue on who created french fries, many people in Belgium do speak French as an official language.

Not a very healthy item, but love them. Try not to eat too often tho.
