Fact of the Day: Holy Rooster

Roosters have been part of religious customs in almost every world religion. In Zoroastrianism (of the ancient Middle East) the rooster was consider a symbol of light. Which helped make the rooster one of the holiest animals in Iran from 2000 BC to 700 BC.
