Fact of the Day: Irish Setters

Irish Setters are dogs that do quite well with families with children and other dogs. However they tend to be unpredictable with smaller animals like cats and birds as they were bred in Ireland to be a hunting dog.

I've seen some that are good with cats, always depends on the dog and cat though.

My roommate had an Irish setter and she was wild in an apartment. They really need running room.
