Random Photo: First Ice Storm of 2017

Snow doesn't occur all the time in the Southern United States but it's not that uncommon. We usually get it once a year. My new house's front yard seemed to be very resistant to snow and ice.
The roads not so much and the cars were frozen over. It wasn't very snowy either, it was more like ice than snow. Which makes it extremely difficult to get off your car. The city or county had trucks come by to take care of the roads, They actually did a fairly good job too.

Don't know what I would think if I woke up to that - but it's very pretty.

We get mounds of it yearly, but it's been very mild this year, thankfully!
