Fact of the Day: Axolotl

Axolotls, also known as Mexican salamanders or Mexican walking fish are salamanders that are native to Mexico. However in recent years due to water pollution, they are nearly extinct in the wild.

I know extinction is a natural event but I hate it when humans are responsible.
