Fact of the Day: McHotdog

McDonald's original CEO Ray Kroc said that hot dogs would never be available no matter how large the demand as nobody could trust what was really inside the meat. About a decade after his death, McDonalds did come out with their own hotdogs but they didn't last long. They can still be found at McDonald's in Japan.

"nobody could trust what was really inside the meat" -- that's rich, coming from McDonalds.

The one in the picture doesn't look that appealing.

After watching The Founder and seeing what a slimy weasel Ray Kroc was, I think it's funny they went against his wishes and put it on the menu, even if it was short lived.

Currently, Mc donald in France sells hot dogs but for a few weeks only.
