Question: The Syrian Republican Double Standard?

I had a co-worker recently bring up on how proud she was of Donald Trump for bombing Syria to "avenge" the deaths of the children gassed there. Yet these same Republicans are against letting any of these children into America as refugees. How can we be so proud if we are willing to shut the metaphorical door and hear the screams from the other side?

Does the hypocrisy bother you?

It absolutely bothers me, particularly when the bombs kill civilians.

Yes, but hypocrisy is the least of America's problems these days.

Yes, it absolutely bothers me. It cost nearly 60 million dollars to shoot off these missiles and nothing was accomplished; planes were flying out of this facility the next day. Trump is all about show, flash over substance. He doesn't ever accomplish anything, but then I don't want him to succeed at what he wants to do.

Yes, it's bothersome.

Utter hypocrisy of the highest order.
Well what would you, Adam, really think a Turnip Top
supporter would say?????????????????

I wonder does your co-worker know actually where Syria is.
Take in an unmarked World Map and ask this buffoon to pin point Syria, North Korea, Laos or even Hawaii.
After all the "darlin' of the Tea Party' set, Sarah "Moose" shootin' Palin" didn't even know that Hawaii was a state of the Union and you have a couple of her ardent followers of your blog and their silence/comments at present is "deafening !!!
Even the Equator and the International date line is foreign to them!!
I totally agree with Stephen above.
