Photos: Pandas at Zoo Atlanta

My wife got real impatient about the panda bears at Zoo Atlanta in Georgia. She realized we didn't see the pandas within the five minutes of us getting there and wanted to find them as if they were going to leave the zoo that minute for New York or something. The Zoo's pathways are not simple, so it actually took us a lot of effort to find the panda place.
Daddy panda outside was hard to see. But the other ones were inside. Two babies were sleeping.
And mama panda was doing the same thing.
The pandas weren't too exciting despite their rarity, but I always wanted to see one with my own eyes. Daisy was pleased.

Daisy looks happy, you must have caught the pandas at nap time, this is how we seem to find most of the animals when we visit a zoo, glad you got to see them anyway.

I don't think I've ever been blessed to see a panda...but I do love zoos.

I had NO idea that pandas bestowed blessings on people.
Quite incredible animals and now thankfully under international
protection for future generations to enjoy.

Glad you both got a chance to see them. They are cute. I had an opportunity to get a glimpse of them at the Toronto Zoo a few years ago.

Not always easy to see animals you want to see in a Zoo, but pleased you did.

Pandas are a treat never to be missed! I've only seen live pandas once, in Winnipeg about 25 years ago. Two pandas were on loan from China and you had to buy special zoo tix to see them. The day we went it was cool and rainy but it turned out to be ideal because the pandas love it! They were rolling around and playing and having fun! In the heat, they just lie there and sleep, so we lucked out with the weather that day.

The panda exhibit in Canada was over an hour wait and we got there right when they opened. Everyone rushed to see the pandas first thing like they were also going to leave for NY at a moments notice. It was so worth the wait though because the babies were quite playful that early in the morning.
