Fact of the Day: Chinese Gooseberry

For many years, in most Western countries, kiwi fruits were better known as Chinese gooseberries.

I think I heard about this a long time ago and forgot. It sure doesn't remind me of a berry.

I haven't had a decent kiwi fruit in ages. They're always too hard. I think they pick them too green.

I have heard of chinese gooseberries but never knew that kiwi was one in the same.
