Fact of the Day: The Lion The Witch and The Lamppost

C.S. Lewis put a lamppost in his Chronicles of Narnia series simply because his friend J.R.R. Tolkien said no good fantasy novel would have something as random as a lamppost.

OMG, I didn't know that! And I've studied both Lewis and Tolkien ~ but then they had lots of literary and religious disagreements!
