Fact of the Day: Taser

The taser gun was invented by NASA researcher Jack Cover. He named it after Thomas A. Swift's Electric Rifle which is part of the Tom Swift science fiction stories of the early 20th century.

Jack Cover is a cool name that sounds like it could be used in a spy novel. I was watching this program the other day and lady purchased a pink one just in case an old friend attempted to assault her.
