Photo: Panda Art

For those wondering, this is the art we got from Vintage Warehouse in Spartanburg which was done by a Chinese-American artist named Ginger Rogers. It didn't come with a frame, and we went to Michael's that same day (due to my mother's recommendation) and their custom frames were expensive beyond belief. I wasn't a framing the Mona Lisa or a Picasso, so we found a reasonable one from Art To Frame as no local places had basic frames in the large size we needed. A tiny spot on the side was slightly damaged (I'm guessing from the shipping process) but you don't really notice it. I certainly didn't feel right spending more on a frame than I did the art anyways.

I always spend more on frames than the art itself, probably because I create the art myself. But your frame job looks top notch.

It's beautiful! And I don't blame you about the frame. Michael's can be quite expensive. I only shop their deals. Regular prices are too high.

That is a beautiful piece of art and the framing is perfect! We have regularly spent more on frames than art. In the '80s, we bought 5 beautiful antique Japanese prints, paying $14 each for them. We then framed the five for a total of $350. We still have them and I still can't believe it.

It will look lovely in your home, I am sure. Yes, Michael's is very expensive. I think I paid over $100 for custom framing once. Never again!
