King William II of England, was also known as King Rufus. William II was not a popular king, and during a hunting trip he was killed by an arrow. Most believe he was assassinated on his younger brother's orders as he took the throne as Henry I.
Rufus, the name, interested me, so I looked it up. Rufus means Red-haired. I wonder if being red-headed was a reason for his unpopularity. Perhaps he was left-handed, too.
Blood thirsty bastards in those days of "yore". I wonder is dear little Kim Jung-un an Asian distance relative??? You don't like of them...........just dispatch to the "never-never". Cheers Colin

I love these tidbits. These are all Jerry's ancestors (Henry I was his 27-greats grandfather; Rufus was his 28-greats uncle). My in-laws!
Sibling rivalry strikes again! Interesting :/
Sounds like his younger brother was the one hunting that day
How terrible.
I guess you could easily disguise that as an accident...

Awful!
Interesting. I like the name Rufus though.
The circumstances of this king's death have always been questioned.

Haha! You left out that he was addicted to every kind of vice, particularly lust and especially sodomy! History is really cool!
