Photos: The Big Sea Life Aquarium Tank

While it doesn't seem like it, but the majority of Sea Life Aquarium is really one big tank which includes this hallway walk.
My favorite was the sea turtle. He was a rescue after an accident with a boat down in Florida.
He has to have a weight on his back so he can swim up and down with control.
They also offer a behind-the-scenes tour and you can see the top of the tank which I think they said it was over 40 or 50 feet tall.

Walk-through aquariums are really great places to view some nasty sea creatures. I presume that on walls there are photos of the various fish and sea creatures with ALL relevant information.
IE: that is the ones to avoid if you are swimming in sea water rivers/estuaries or at the beach??????????????????????
Certainly all relevant information is supplied at aquariums like you visited in North Carolina in Australian counterparts.

I'm glad that turtle is being cared for and has a safe space to swim now.

I would have enjoyed that behind the scenes tour! Aquariums are excellent places to learn about aquatic life, especially when you get few opportunities to dip below the surface of the ocean in real life. They teach children wonder, and that is important.
