Fact of the Day: Communist Mongolia

While almost every communist nation (current or former) allied and/or was helped formed by the Soviet Union, Mongolia was one of the first. It operated as a Soviet puppet state from 1924 until it collapsed along with Eastern Europe in the early 1990's.

Despite of this fact, I would still want to visit the country one day. From the photos I've seen, the landscapes of the country are beautiful. Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving me such a fun comment. I'm curious, what kind of posters did you have on your walls years ago?

Mongolia is a great place for horses since there's so much grass, but there isn't much else there from what I've read.
