Photos: Puppies at the Spartanburg County Library

I'm a million times more a dog person than a cat person, so I was thrilled when our local human society brought puppies in the lobby of our local library. They drew quite a crowd.
It was hard to get a good look at first. There was only three of them.
And two big dogs, this big-puppy is eight years old. Very sweet as can be.
The literal puppies were very tiny, smaller than when I first got my (now departed) dog Zelda.
Labradors aren't my favorite dogs, but they were super cute.
I got to hold one for a minute. I can only assume they didn't like being held every five seconds by people. Didn't take him long as the puppy wanted to get back to his crate and tried to wiggle out of my arms. Daisy wanted one but our house isn't really set-up for a dog, especially a young puppy who will grow into a big wild young dog.

  2. "A million times more a dog person than a cat person?" Oh well *gritting my teeth* I still like you anyway. My human says I need to be more tolerant, especially at this time of the year.

  3. Maybe you could get a smaller dog for her. Altho with you both working, it would be hard to potty train.....

  5. They are really cute. Perhaps one day you'll adopt one.

  6. Don't you just love puppies? I get so excited when anyone I know gets a new dog so I can go over and play with them. My dogs are almost 7 and are starting to get lazy. Playtime isn't what it used to be when they were little ones since they tend to tire out much more quickly these days.

  7. You will know the right dog once they choose you, our Dixie was a five week old Dachshund when she chose us back in 2004 now she is laid back and living her golden years, it's a shame they age so quickly.
