Question: Do You Wear Shoes in the House?

If I'm in my pajamas, I obviously won't have them on. But if I'm wearing jeans, I'll have my tennis shoes on. My in-laws are like a traditional Asian family, you wear shoes in the house on purpose, you might get something thrown at you.

  6. No shoes in the house! We always leave them by the door and so do our guests. We wear slippers around the house.

  7. Yes. And I wipe my feet before entering the homes of other people but I don't take off my shoes.

  9. The only time I do is when my feet need support because I've been standing too long and much prepping food in the kitchen.

  10. I'm surprised that there are so many people who don't wear shoes in the house. It makes all kinds of sense to me. But then again, I'm Asian so it's what I'm used to. Even when we lived on the mainland, we asked people to remove their shoes when entering. I think they just thought it was a quirk of ours.
