Fact of the Day: The Pennsylvania Steagles

In 1943 the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers merged into the Phil-Pitt Steagles. It was only for one season as neither team could play alone as both had loss a lot of their members to military service during World War II.
