Fact of the Day: Recycled Styrofoam

While it's possible to recycle Styrofoam, many recycling centers/programs rarely accept it. The major reason is its low density makes it not very economical to recycle.

We do recycle styrofoam in Toronto somehow.

I did not know it was recyclable. You'd think at least the companies that make it might want to trumpet that fact (as well as operate a recycling center as a side business.)

They finally started doing it where I live, but I don't have much of it anymore.
