Fact of the Day: Tsaritsyn

Before becoming Stalingrad (present-day Volgograd), the Russian city's original name was Tsaritsyn.

I've always felt it was somewhat unfortunate that the name was changed from Stalingrad. I can see they didn't want to commemorate one of history's worst tyrants, but Stalingrad was one of history's most important battles.
