Question: Do You Think Dumb People Are More Happy?

I think this goes hand-in-hand with the term "blissfully ignorant". It does seem like dumber people are happier on average than smarter people. When your mind isn't quite as capable of thinking about life's problems, it does seem to be better to be (mood wise) in the dark than certainly worried over the harsh reality.

What do you think?

I think people who are less stressed out about stuff are happier.

No, I don't. Happiness or unhappiness has nothing to do with IQ, it seems to me. There's plenty of both to go around for everyone.

I agree with Debra.

Nah. They may be blissfully ignorant about bigger things, but they can be just as unhappy about crap smarter people would find stupid.

No, I don't. I think people who don't have drama in their lives and people who don't sweat the small stuff are happier.

ahaha Adam what a question, it gives much thought. Judging from the comments it doesn't work that way.

Ask members of the Trump (Turnip Top) inner sanctum.
That Hucklebee-Sanders creature never looks happy.....maybe caused by her professional devotion to lie telling.

Happiness comes in many ways so what if you are dumb or an Einstein?

All other things being equal, dumb people may be more blissfully ignorant. But they're also more likely to blunder into problems they can't solve, so in practice they probably wind up less happy.

No. One of my high school friends was dumber than a box of rocks and she was one of the most petty, unhappy people I knew.
