We Are Back Home After Washington D.C. Trip

After two flights, a LOT of walking, plenty of things to see, we are now safely back home! I will say, we did accomplish almost everything we could have wanted to do (within reason) and we were all ready to board that plane when the time came. DC certainly took a toll on our energy levels.

Well you obviously didn't kick Turnip Top.
He was on the news here - AGAIN - this morning.
Telling his usual garbage - I wonder how long "new
found ally" - the former mayor of NYC will last.

I hope you managed to get to the Smithsonian museum.
I look forward to your reports - minus FAST FOOD OUTLETS, please.

We managed to see the big ones; the zoo, american hist, natural hist, air and space.

There is so much to see and do in DC, isn't there? I know you are tired but hope it was fun and worth all the loss of energy!

Hope you post some pictures of Washington. I've been to the States twice a long time ago, but never went to Washington, but it's a city I would love to see.

ahhh....so glad you got to go. Mr. Sweet and I had a trip there planned for this summer...now I am sad to know that he didn't make it...I think he is seeing much more impressive sights than that, tho.

Yes, travel can be tiring especially to a city where there is just SO much to see! Looking forward to your posts about the trip!

Washington D.C. is a great place to visit. I like the busses you could get on and off. The bus drivers were great story tellers.

I bet it feels like you need a vacation from your vacation now. All of that sightseeing and walking sure does take its toll. Glad you and Daisy have safely returned home.

Often the way when returning from a holiday, you often need another to get over the first - but it's great you all did what you wanted to do and see..

I’m so glad you got to see D.C. There’s so much to see there. It does sap your energy level though.

Oh how funny.
You with "The Gun totting Turnip Top" in the Rose garden.
Were you by any chance at the Dallas NRA function where your lunatic "GOD" gave "unwanted" advice to the British and French governments on "arming citizens"?????
That certainly was appreciated by both governments.
Who needs enemies when you have a Turnip Top giving advice.

PS: Don't you ever step foot in Australia or anywhere west of LAX!
