Fact of the Day: Old Hairdryers

The first hairdryer was invented in France, but it wasn't very portable. It was essentially a bonnet connected to the chimney pipe of a gas stove in a hair salon.

When I used to go to the salon years ago, it was pretty interesting to be put into all these weird contraptions to dry my hair. (lol) Thank goodness those days are gone. Hugs...RO
