Fact of the Day: Thomas Edison Jr.

While Thomas Edison became a legend in the inventing world, his son Thomas Edison Jr. did not. He used the family name and had many products that had little to no merit. This annoyed his father so much that they had to take the matter to court. Eventually they came to agreement, he would use an alias and Thomas Edison would give him an allowance.

Didn't want him discrediting the family brand name, I guess.

I feel kind of sorry for him.

That's kind of sad. I imagine that it must be hard trying to follow in your parent's footsteps when they've accomplished so many wonderful things.
