Photos: Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington DC

I thought this memorial to our troops in the Korean War was pretty nice. I liked these statues.
Gives you an idea of what our troops went through during that war.
The wall of faces is also pretty memorable.
And I also liked the Pool of Remembrance.

Hi, Adam! I'm so behind ~ I'm sorry! I will definitely be catching up ~ Again! I visited this memorial some years ago when I was in D. C. It had a powerful impact on me. I walked through it a number of times, stopping by each soldier to look at his face and position. It truly gives you a feeling of what they endured. I'm so glad that I have never had to face war. When I saw the Pool of Remembrance there were birds splashing in the water and having so much fun. I'm glad that you shared your photos and thoughts! I'll be back!

Lets hope that the war is soon OFFICIALLY over.....not this truce nonsense as it now stands.
I don't believe that Turnip Top's new attorney, the once Mayor of New York, has helped this "to be, and then off and now on" Sentaso" resort meeting. I have a feeling that "Little Rocket" man would have taken too kindly to his recent idiotic and not diplomatic utterings!
Then you have your Secretary of State - the "yes" man of the Trump disaster team in Singapore making arrangements and didn't even know the date for the meeting. Had to be told by the Singapore Foreign Minister.
I hope Turnip Top knows what Sentosa was during WW2????????????
It was like Changi and infamous P.O.W. camp of great brutality!!!

The memorial is very moving as most memorials are.
You should see the American War Memorial in Manila, the Philippines. That is incredible.
