Fact of the Day: Germanic Shark

The English word shark comes from the Germanic word schurke which meant "worthless rogue".

Heh. I have this mental image of a shark sighting and people screaming, "Ruthless rogue. Ruthless rogue." :)

oh wow,,,I never knew that,, they are ruthless, but worthless, scientists would probably give us all the reasons they are useful but my world would be fine without them!!
