Fact of the Day: Latin Fossil

The English word fossil is derived from the Latin word fossilis which means "dug up".

We saw a small dino exhibit this past week, always interesting! I was amazed when I googled how many different types of dinosaurs there were here, mind boggling the millions of years they actually existed also.
