Photos: Smithsonian Museum of Natural History

Right after we got done with the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, we walked not too far to the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. While the previous museum made the history nerd in me happy, this place was heaven for my inner science-nerd.
One of the first things I saw when I walked in was a rock statue from Easter Island. First time I had seen one with my own eyes.
Like the Museum of American History, it's a pretty large place with lots of things to discover.

I'm not sure if my daughter went here on her school trip. Now I'll have to ask her. It does look really cool!

This is one of my favorite museums to visit of all times, I love the array of artifacts they have here. Absolutely amazing, great place to bring the family to, looks like you had a great day. Thanks for the share.
