Photo: Back at the GSP Airport and Home

We arrived back at our local airport after our flight landed, with smiles. Our DC trip went pretty smoothly without many hiccups and no disasters. Before our DC trip, every long trip I'd take away from home I'd get home-sick and be utterly grateful to see our town again. But this time, I could have stayed (mentally anyway) in DC a few more days without being that homesick. That being said, our feet couldn't last much longer, so more days in DC would have not been a good idea.

At the end of the day, there's no place like home. But it is so much fun to visit other areas!

Flying is not what it used to be. When younger, my husband and I flew all over and enjoyed it. Now, it can be a real pain. Once a year, go to Mississippi to see my sister.

That was a great vacation then, Adam. No homesick feeling. Of course you were traveling with great companions. :-)

I love travelling, but also love getting back home.

I'd be seeing a doctor about your feet problems.

Daisy's hand seems to be constantly attached to
a fattening plastic carton of soft drink or shake!
I trust she doesn't go to bed with this affliction????

Your DC trip and your reporting and photos ( bar the food outlet ones)
was well documented, well done.

I love to travel, but always have a little yearning for the comforts of home while away.
