Being 3 hours away from the beach, hurricanes rarely do much here in the Upstate (Northwest) of South Carolina. Today, there was no rain here, Sunday is our expected storm day of rain and wind. I'm not sure how rainy it's suppose to be, but winds will reach a high of 30mph (48.2kph) which is quite nothing compared to what Myrtle Beach, SC and Wilmington, North Carolina got earlier yesterday. It's now downgraded as a tropical storm, and will be further weakened by the time it gets here. So to answer anyone's question, we're alright.

This is good news adam! We have the same case in the PHilippines and our hurricane also downgraded and now gets weakened. Stay safe and dry!
That's great to hear! Thanks for the update:) Man...all these hurricanes and typhoons lately...:(
I'm glad to hear that, Adam!
I was thinking about you and Daisy, glad to hear you are ok.
Interesting. We got a lot of rain here in Cleveland earlier in the week, and I've read that's somehow an offshoot of hurricane season, even though we're nowhere near the coast (well, there's Lake Erie, but it's not known for its hurricanes.)
Good to know!
thanks for keeping us posted ~ I'm glad all is well for you ~
Glad to hear you are ok :)
All the best Jan
We missed the storm where we live in Virginia. Glad you are okay.
Sorry, I have to write again, Im glad to heard you are OK Adam!
Glad to know you're alright where you are. It's so difficult to tell from the weather maps where it's actually hitting and how hard.
Good to hear, Adam.
Glad to hear you and Daisy are safe and sound.
