Since we were near the main library in Spartanburg, I took my Little Brother (through the Big Brother Big Sisters program) Mr. B to see the water fountains near the front of the building. He asked me if I had any coins to toss in to make a wish. I didn't really, but I told him that foreign objects can harm fountains and it would be best, not to do so.

That's such a pretty fountain. I hope it doesn't have fish in it though.
Who has coins anymore?
Something nice about fountains and water features …
All the best Jan
That's a nice looking fountain.
Adam, That is a beautiful fountain. So wonderful of you to be a big brother. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Wow, what a beautiful fountain!
Don't you have coins in Toronto?
Or are you so well off that coins are nothing?
Toronto may as well be across the waterway in the USA.
It is so "Yankie" that PM Justine Trudeau would probably
be pleased to see the city just join the US Union.
The waterway looks great, Adam. I hope there are city cleaners to keep it in a pristine state???

Pretty, pretty fountain. We have one grandchild that waded into a fountain and was collecting coins before we could stop her. She put them back. lol
That's a very impressive fountain for a library.
I like the shape of the fountain. Looks very artistic.
What? You wouldn’t let him throw in a coin and make a wish? I doubt it would hurt the fountain as they lay on the bottom and later collected usually as a donation.
Beautiuful fountain though.
